Relationship therapy
As a relationship therapist, I am flexible and responsive to how you want to work as a couple. Couples’ sessions are either weekly or every other week.
In my work with couples I may:
- witness and facilitate difficult conversations between you
- share with you how I observe the relationship between you
- explore how each of your childhoods and/or previous relationships may affect your relationship
- offer psycho-education
- suggest exercises and tasks to work on at home between sessions.
My focus will be on how you are together; I work on the assumption that as a couple, it’s likely that you’re jointly responsible for the challenges you face, and that jointly, you’ll be working together, – each making some changes, and listening to the other’s perspective – to improve your relationship.
