Clinical Supervision

I have a particular interest in supporting therapists in the practical, developmental and psychological aspects of transitioning from trainee to private practitioner. I view the supervisory relationship as a safe, collaborative space where you can:

• reflect on your interventions and the theoretical basis for your work
• explore unconscious processes between you and your clients 
• discuss your professional development and training 
• explore ethical issues
• take note of how you are caring for yourself

My principal models for supervision are Hawkins and Shohet’s Seven-Eyed Model, Mazetti’s Operational Model and Inskipp and Proctor’s Normative Formative Restorative Model.
